Push-Pull type works by pushing the SIM card into place, the SIM is held in place by the force of the contacts which hold the card in place against the plastic frame or metal shell, the card is removed by pulling by hand.
This connector type is an economical option and often used in fit and forget solutions where the card is rarely (or never) plugged and unplugged.
