With a wide selection of cable assemblies now available in the Nautilus IP67/68 coaxial range, GradConn launches new Nautilus PCB mount connectors to further strengthen the line up.
2018 sees PCB-mounted connectors join the Nautilus range with a pair of right-angled SMA (standard & reverse polarity) jacks. These are popular in applications where the RF module connects to an antenna via tracks on the circuit board instead of a cable assembly providing engineers even greater flexibility in their designs.
With limited options available in the market currently, GradConn has taken this opportunity to meet the increasing demand for Waterproof coaxial connectors in a PCB mount configuration. The new connectors also have the advantage over cable assembly variants when space is a consideration as they allow for more compact designs.
"Our range of Nautilus cable assemblies and connectors continue to grow from strength to strength and reflects the increasing demand for water and dust proof RF solutions we see in the market today" says Andy Hamlin, GradConn Sales Manager. "Having a PCB mount option for Nautilus will complement the IP Rated Coaxial assembly range perfectly in applications requiring sealed connections in harsh environments"
