Welcome to the PCB Stacking Height Calculator. Enter your stacking height and optional filters below to find your ideal mating stack solution.

GradConn’s massive range of signal and power board to board connectors for parallel PCB mating can be baffling, the board to board stacking calculator is a step by step system to find the perfect mating connector design solution.  To help you design in the optimal design solution at a great price you’ll be guided to the lowest cost option.

Simply enter the PCB stacking dimension required, toggle between imperial and metric. Then use the narrow your search facility allowing multiple choices for you to compare and contrast solutions.  The search automatically displays results 0.5mm (.020”) either side of your desired PCB stack height, this may be adjusted for both upper & lower tolerance, allowing you to view alternative options where your design is flexible.

Search by:

  • Connector Pitch: From 1.00mm (.039”) pitch thru to 5.08mm (.200”)
  • Number of rows: Single, dual, triple or quad row connectors.
  • PCB mount type: Surface mount, thru hole or a mixture of the two (for example a SMT header with a Thru hole socket).

The search includes all headers and sockets, including elevated parts.  Boxed and polarised products are also included in the search.

Once you’ve found your perfect PCB mating solution, both halves of the connector may then be added to your shopping basket.  Ordering connector samples was never easier.

If you require any help please speak to your local GradConn sales office, where there's a connector expert on hand to offer design solution advice.
