Pin headers and female socket connectors in 0.8mm x 1.20mm are available in 6 to 100 contacts. Capable of 0.5A per circuit with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 300V AC and operating temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. Mated board to board connector pairs offer 100 insertion cycles durability.
Dual row, straight, surface mount (SMT) configuration allow parallel PCB stacking. Pin spacing is 0.8mm (.031") between pins and 1.2mm (.047") between rows. Suitable for one hundred connector mating cycle durability.
Vertical PCB headers with exposed contacts BB02-AY and AW are available with an optional plastic locating peg to aid SMT placement, positioning and strength post soldering. BB02-AW is a stacking header with 2.4mm – 12.80mm stacking profile. Add the height of the socket in top entry applications to find the total PCB stack height. Pin headers allow a customisable pin length and have a square pin size of 0.30mm.
Vertical PCB receptacle BB02-AZ has a locating peg and is suitable for dual entry, pin headers can be plugged from above for standard parallel PCB mating, whilst in bottom socket entry mode holes are drilled in the PCB and the pin header entry through the PCB and from below, this offers an alternative PCB design solutions with a very low PCB stacking height.
Tube or Tape and reel packaging (with or without film or caps) for pick and place assembly, is available on all 0.8 x 1.2mm connectors.
