Surface Mount PCB Connectors
All GradConn surface mount connectors can be supplied in tape and reel packaging, if required with caps or film for use in automatic pick and place manufacturing equipment.
To help you achieve the correct stacking height our headers have many elevated options. Standard headers often have a choice of insulator height and shrouding options. We aim to offer multiple socket heights by pitch range; many of our SMT sockets are suitable for bottom entry mating, check drawings for bottom entry PCB layouts.
Pin lengths on headers are flexible. Normally the socket drawing will specify the ‘recommended mating pin length’.
Many GradConn SMT products have optional PCB pegs. This feature is designed to hold the connector in place during production process and also provide greater physical strength.
GradConn SMT board connectors are RoHS compliant and lead free. As standard SMT connectors are available in Nylon6T, Nylon46 or LCP insulators which are suitable for high temperature reflow solder profiles.
GradConn surface mount connectors are available in 0.5mm, 0.8mm, 1mm, 1.27mm, 2mm, 2.54mm,1.27x2.54mm, 3.96mm and 5.08mm pitch.
