SIM card slots into place and is held by friction.

SIM card inserted into hinged cover which locks the SIM card in place when closed.

SIM card is held in place by a cover or moulding holding the card onto the contacts.

GradConn manufacture four standard types of SIM connector: Push-push and push-eject SIM connector, Receiver/Push in type SIM connector, Flip/hinged type SIM connector and contact type SIM connector.

SIM Connectors are available in 6 or 8 contacts, with optional PCB locating pegs and metal holdowns.

SIM card connectors are available with a switch to provide card detection information, this adds an extra two contacts. (6+2/ 8+2).

Low profile options: Heights of 0.85mm in contact style, 1.6mm in receiver style and 1.9 mm for the push push SIM connector.
