SIM card is held in place by a cover or moulding holding the card onto the contacts. Suitable for Micro SIM cards (Mini UICC, 3ff)

GradConn manufacture five standard types of SIM connector: Push-push and push-eject SIM connector, Receiver/Push in type SIM connector, Micro SIM connector, Flip/hinged type SIM connector and contact type SIM connector.
SIM Connectors are available in 6 or 8 contacts, with optional PCB locating pegs and metal holdowns.
SIM card connectors are available with a switch to provide card detection information, this adds an extra two contacts. (6+2/ 8+2).
Low profile options: Heights of 0.85mm in contact style, 1.6mm in receiver style and 1.9 mm for the push push SIM connector.
