The micro SIM/3ff/mini-SIM card
The micro sim card's size is only 12mm x 15mm and has the same 
thickness and contact arrangement as the standard SIM card. The micro-SIM is backward compatible with larger SIM holders and SIM readers (via additional plastic cut out surrounds) and the MicroSIM uses the same size and position of pins as the standard SIM card.
This micro 3FF SIM connector (UICC) can be used with the Micro SIM holder and the Contact SIM connector; the holder can be used in any device that accept 3G SIM card, not just the I-phone, such as wireless Router, 3G USB modern, Any 3G Cell phone, Laptop with SIM card slot.
