Blanked holes on sockets and missing pins on headers – offering an inexpensive method of connector polarization. Pin header may only be terminated to socket in correct orientation with the use of this feature, this is especially useful in applications where you don't have the space for a shrouded header solution.
PCB Header and receptacle insulators – non standard sizes. For a modest tooling fee we can produce non standard header insulators, sockets can be more tricky as sometimes a special contact design is required, however often a standard existing contact can be used.
Kinked Pins on thru hole parts – for PCB retention during soldering. GradConn offer kinked pins upon request.
Angled pins on headers – angled specific to your design.
Non standard pin spacing pitch – This example is 2.54mm between pins and 3.5mm between rows, we can offer other variations upon request.
Bladed mating pins – Allows connection to tab receptacle type connectors but uses a 0.64mm square pin for PCB termination.
Different insulator materials - Upon request we can offer special materials, this example shows a PCB receptacle produced in Nylon 9T, the standard being LCP.
Different insulator colours – For example, Natural.
